Trading Hours

This guide explains which assets have specific market hours and what you need to consider to follow this essential rule.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

At FXRK, traders with funded accounts must trade responsibly and be aware of market hours.

It is strictly forbidden to keep positions open when the market is closed.

This rule does not apply during the challenge. You may keep trades open at any time during the evaluation phase.

What does this mean?

Some financial instruments have specific trading hours. For example:

  • Stocks, indices, and commodities: These markets close during certain hours of the day. All positions must be closed before market close.

  • Cryptocurrencies: Can be traded 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (24/7).

  • Forex: Open from Monday morning until Friday night. Closed on weekends.

Trader’s responsibility

In funded accounts, the trader is fully responsible for knowing the market hours of the asset being traded.

Not closing a position in time is considered a serious violation of the rules.

Always check the trading hours of the asset you're trading if you're in a funded account.
