Steps to Log In
Open the MetaTrader 4 app on your mobile device.
Tap on "New Account" and then select "Log in to an existing account".
In the search bar search XM.COM-DEMO
Enter your account details:
Login: your account number
Password: the MetaTrader password you received by email
If the information is correct, your account will connect automatically and appear at the bottom of the app as "Connected", showing live ping and traffic data.
Common Errors When Connecting Your AccountIncorrect or incomplete server name
What happens: You see the message "Invalid account" or the connection fails.
Cause: A generic or incorrect server was selected.
Solution: Make sure you select XM.COM-DEMO
Incorrect login or password
What happens: The app does not allow you to log in.
Cause: Typing errors, incorrect characters, or extra spaces.
Solution: Copy and paste your account number and password carefully. Avoid adding any spaces. Also confirm you’re using the MetaTrader password, not the one for the user portal.
Unstable internet connection
What happens: The app displays "No connection" or fails to load.
Cause: MetaTrader is unable to connect due to network issues, a firewall, or antivirus restrictions.
Solution: Check your internet connection and ensure that no software is blocking the app. Try switching networks if necessary.
