Guide to connect your FXRK account to MetaTrader 5

If you have not yet installed MetaTrader 5, you can download it from our download center:

Steps to connect your account

  1. Open the MetaTrader 5 platform.

  2. In the top left menu, click on "File".

  3. Select the option "Open an Account".

  4. Select the server named XM Global Limited. Make sure it matches exactly.


  5. Choose the option "Connect with an existing trading account".

  6. Enter your account number and password. You will receive this information by email or you can access it in your user portal:https://app.fxrk.com

  7. In the Server field, select the server that appears next to your account details, in the EXAMPLE case: XMGlobal-MT5 2.


  8. Once these steps are completed, your account will appear connected in the platform’s dropdown menu.


Common connection errors

If you are having trouble connecting your MetaTrader account, review the following common issues before contacting support:

  • Incorrect server selected:

    • What happens: The message "Invalid account" or "No connection" appears.

    • Solution: Make sure you select XM Global Limited in the "Broker" field and your account server in "Sever" field (Example: XMGlobal-MT5 2)

  • Incorrect login credentials:

    • What happens: MetaTrader fails to connect and displays authentication errors.

    • Solution: Check that your account number and password are entered correctly, with no extra spaces or typing errors. You can find this information in the welcome email or at https://app.fxrk.com.

  • Unstable internet connection:

    • What happens: The platform shows "No connection" and does not load data.

    • Solution: Verify your internet connection and ensure that MetaTrader is not
